In an exciting but long (just under 4 hours) match, Novak Djoković (SRB) defeated Marin Cilic (CRO) to advance to the fourth round in the US Open. Man was it a long game! It was close to 1:00am in New York when it ended and lots of fans stayed on to watch the exciting match. I’m sure Djoković was quite relieved when it was finally over. He plays Tommy Robredo of Spain tomorrow Tuesday, September 2 in an early afternoon match. Check the US Open site for info and to watch the game live.
