Still going through Olympic withdrawls, I’m keeping my sport interest going with following some of the slavic athletes in the US Open right now. This morning I watched Jelena Janković (SRB) defeat Caroline Wozniacki (DEN) to move into the quarterfinals. This is her first time making it into a Grand Slam quarterfinal. Janković is seeded 2nd going into these quarterfinals.
Tonight in men’s singles olympic bronze medalist Novak Djoković (SRB) takes on Marin Colic of Croatia in 3rd round matches. Tune in later.
